May 15, 2020: Operations Update

At Vaughn Greene Funeral Services, we understand that the Coronavirus has impacted many families.

These unprecedented times have influenced how we live, the ways that we grieve, and the traditions that mean the most to us. Still, we remain committed to providing the highest quality of care to the families that we are privileged to serve.

The Governor of Maryland issued guidance for the initial phase of state reopening to go into effect on May 15, 2020, at 5 pm. While we understand that different parts of Maryland are phasing-in or delaying reopening, we have been providing limited (10 participants) services since the pandemic began and will continue to pace our service policies by those of Baltimore City and Baltimore County. We will continue to limit large gatherings and maintain our mask and social distancing policies, until these practices are universally lifted.

We will also continue to update our offerings to best serve your funeral, cremation, and pre-planning needs. While our repast facilities remain closed, catering pickup services remain available, should meals provide comfort to your household during your time of loss. Where possible, we have added teleconferences in place of in-person meetings and livestreaming services to support your family in the celebration of your loved one. We also look forward to providing an array of memorial options when regulations permit us to do so.

We remain committed to making every adjustment to keep you safe and to guide you in planning a meaningful life celebration. As always, we are here for you, we are praying for you, and we remain ready to serve your family.
