Ms. Freddie Mae Thompson, age 87, entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 6, 2026, after a life well lived. Ms. Thompson was born in Buie, North Carolina on March 12, 1939. She had been employed as a CNA /GNA prior to retirement. Ms. Thompson will be missed by her loving family and friends. Family and friends will honor Ms. Thompson's life on Friday, July 24, 2026, at Vaughn C. Greene Funeral Services - East, 4905 York Road, Baltimore, MD 21212, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on, Saturday, July 25, 2026, in the sanctuary of The New Light Church, 200 S. Highland Ave., Baltimore, Maryland 21224. The wake will begin at 10:30 am with the homegoing service to follow beginning at 11:00 am. The burial will follow the services in Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens, 5598 Trumps Mill Road, Baltimore, MD 21206.
