Mr. Charles Edward Smith, age 81, of Pikesville, transitioned Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at home in Pikesville, MD. Mr. Smith was born December 19, 1937 in Palatka, Florida. He was married to Mrs. Thelma E. Smith. He was a retired Police Officer with the Baltimore City Police Department. Calling hours will be Friday, November 22, 2019 from 4:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Vaughn C. Greene Funeral Services, 8728 Liberty Road, Randallstown, MD (21133). The Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Smith will be held Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Spirit of Faith Christian Center, 5010 Briarclift Road, Baltimore, MD (21229), where the family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. with services to follow. The interment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Gwynn Oak Saturday, November 23, 2019 immediately following services.
