The one thing I will always remember most about Ms.Mary was her welcoming spirit. When we move into the 4 the summer of 76, Darryl was the first friend I made. Meeting me for the first time… she could not have been nicer, inviting me into her home so we could continue playing into the evening hours.
From that day and over the years… I was always welcome in her home. Whether it was just a regular day or their family get togethers… she welcomed me like I was her own.
While over the years, I would only see her ( and D) in passing… it was always love. I am thankful to have known her as one of my 4x4 Moms! My deepest condolences to D and the entire family.
