Obituary of Nancy Everleaner Hunter Palmer

Nancy Everleaner Hunter Palmer, daughter of the late Hollie M. Massenburg and the late James Hunter was born on December 1, 1927, in Durham, NC. she departed this life after a short illness on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 in Good Samaritan Hospital. Nancy received Christ at a early age. Upon moving to Baltimore, she became a member of Ark Baptist Church and later moved on to Miracle Deliverance Church. Nancy received her education at Hillside High School. She attended Duke University where she obtained her certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Nancy met and married her true love the late Robert I. Palmer and from this union four children were born. Nancy began her nursing career and worked in numerous hospitals throughout the Maryland area. After serving 41 years as a nurse, Nancy retired from the University of Maryland Methodone Clinic. A devoted sister, mother and friend, she enjoyed spending time with her family. Wherever she went, she lit up the room. Friends are invited to attend the viewing on Thursday, June 18, 2020 from 2:30 pm until 5:00 pm at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services 4905 York Road, Baltimore, MD (21212). Her family will celebrate her life privately on Friday, June 19, 2020 at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services -East Chapel. Burial will take place in Arbutus Memorial Park, immediately following the funeral service.
