Obituary of Sunni H. Karnatu-Bey

SUNNI KARNATU-BEY, affectionately known as Kitty was a Loving Husband, Father, Friend, Brother, and Mentor. He captivated the hearts of everyone that knew him. Sunni was born on April 7, 1947 to the late Charles and Dorothy Brown in historic Towson, MD. He gracefully departed from this life on the morning of July 16th, 2020. He graduated from Towson Senior High School, and started working at the Domino Sugar factory for over 10 years. He then pursued his passion of starting a successful business called Bey's Refrigeration & Heating which lasted for over 40 years. Sunni also used his business as a platform to encourage and inspire inner city young men to develop a craft and enterprenual skill that would give them economic independence. He was a champion for Black excellence and empowerment
