Obituary of Lorna Terry Moten

Ms. Lorna Terry Moten passed away on September 3, 2020, in Baltimore, MD, at 68. Lorna was born on February 10, 1952, in Baltimore, MD, to her parents, Olivia McIntyre and Arthur Joseph Moten. Lorna graduated from the University of District of Columbia (UDC) with a degree in Business. She had a long and rewarding career working for numerous government agencies with titles including Administrative Assistant, Administrative Manager, and Executive Coordinator. Lorna was a very talented and professional singer/entertainer – her love for music was indefinite. She was also very skilled in crafts, which included sewing and jewelry making. She brought smiles to the faces of those that were fortunate enough to be in her presence and experience her many talents. Lorna will be loved and missed. Lorna is survived by her mother, Olivia Nichols; her son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Adjoa Williams; her two grandchildren, Bobby and Brandon Williams; her siblings, Lia Roundtree, Yvonne Moten, and Arthur Moten; her Aunts, Dorothy Weeks and Gloria Cooper; her Uncle, George Whitehurst; her Cousins, Stephanie Whitehurst, Vincent Weeks, Jocelyn Cooper, Carla Hatten, Jessica Weeks, Jason and Todd McIntyre, Tamara and John Jones; her first Cousins, Muffy, Doris Wheeler, and James Kenneth Watson.
