I was deeply saddened to hear about her passing of Soror Patrice. We pledge Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. at Bowie State College in 1974. (Now named Bowie University). I will remember her big smile and friendly laughter. With deepest sympathy to her family and loved ones. May God give you comfort as you grieve, a healing strength as you believe that life goes on beyond this shore, and all of us will meet once more. I am keeping you and your family in prayer. May she rest in peace until that great getting up morning, Hallelujah.

I worked with Patrice at DSS back in 1990's however were friends for much longer. We had lost touch over the past several years and I was so very very sorry to hear about her death, Donald's and her Mother's. Patrice had a HUGE heart, such a wonderful work ethic, she touched people's spirits wherever she went. My deepest sympathy to her family, both blood and adopted :-) Her heart reached wide, she was so dependably loving and caring, and I know many hearts are hurting upon her death. I loved her dearly.

Peace, love, and my sympathy to the family of Ms. King. Her heart was heavy. God wanted her to rest in His loving arms of peace and comfort. Just a sweet lady from the inside out. Her example of love, giving to others without reservation will be a lasting memory. A gem of a lady. May she rest in peace, joining all those she loved so dearly. Anita P.

Patrice has been our neighbor for over 20 years as well a once member of The Mt. Calvary Baptist Church of Lanham where we both attended. I loved her very much and will miss her. Our Deepest sympathy goes out to the family. The Bible says that ( To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

I worked with Patrice for over 30 years and admired her passion and diligence to help and serve the Citizens of the State of Maryland. We also shared many family and personal exchanges through happy conversation.
I am confident that those who die in the Lord rest from their labors and their works do follow them. (Revelation 14:13)
Rest In Peace Patrice
Until we meet again!

Patrice was part of our group we called Joe's Ladies. We all met at the same hair stylist and became fast friends. We would have lunch 3-4 times a year and talk about our lives, politics, books, theatre, and good food, We kept in touch with each other, and we were devastated to learn that we lost our dear friend. Dear Patrice may the Lord God welcome you into his holy presence with "Well Done, My Faithful Servant ".
Until we meet again. Nancy Robinson
