Obituary of Herman Lee Hazelton

Herman Lee Hazelton was born on September 27, 1956, in Baltimore, MD, to the late John Shepard and Doretha Hazelton. He departed this life on October 6, 2020. Herman attended Baltimore City Public Schools. Herman retired from Morgan State University in January 2019 after 17 years of service. He earned numerous awards including the Governor's Citation in 2019 for his strong sense of responsibility and dedication as a Grounds Keeper Lead in the Physical Plant Department. Proceeding Herman in death, in addition to his parents, are his siblings, Betty Ann Clyburn, Kinnie Hazelton, John Shepard Hazelton Jr., David Hazelton, Jackie Hazelton, and Jerome Hazelton. Herman was in LOVE with Baseball and Football! He always looked forward to watching The Orioles and Ravens games, rather live at the stadium or on the big screen! Herman is well remembered for his skilled Baseball days down at Clifton Park. As well as his love for cooking, especially grilling, and listening to The Whispers.
