Missing your voice today... really wishing I could hear you sing again. I hope I get to see your stone soon because I want nothing more than to spend time with you. I really wish you could see the woman I've become and know of everything I'd achieved-- everything you believed I could. You'd be so so proud. I know you're in my heart, but I just want nothing more than one more day with you. I love you from the absolute bottom of my soul and there's not a day that goes by where I look forward to seeing you again.

I’m so sorry to have learned belatedly about Valerie’s passing. I worked with Valerie for many years and want to convey my condolences. She was always eager to help at work and even with physical disabilities, maintained a positive attitude. I know how much Valerie’s family meant to her, and that she’ll be greatly missed by all. She’ll live on in your hearts and in the memories you shared.

To The Family, Valerie was a friend to me from the time I joined Baltimore County DSS. I was shocked to hear of her transition. Val and I talked hours about the goodness of God. My Dearest Friend Valerie We discussed many things and no matter where I found myself you always had a scripture for me. I think about the good times that we shared in Personnel. When Deb, Mary, Joy and Michele would leave for the day everybody would say goodnight while I played the theme song to the Waltons. But there is one scripture that you said to me while we discussed hard financial times and that is, "THE LORD MAKETH ONE RICH AND HE ADDS NO SORROW WITH IT." Thank you for being my friend.
