I and my family was sad to hear of our cousin Lloyd’s passing. I will forever remember his smile and how much he loved his immediate and extended family. I lived in New Jersey most of my younger life but I remember he loved family gatherings. He will be sadly missed. To cousin Geneva and the rest of the family remember “to be absent from the body means he is present with the Lord”.

Dear Jean and Family:
Lloyd was the "Mayor" of the Morgan Park Community. He blessed us with his leadership and by doing the heavy lifting.
He walked the community with his hands behind his back, as if to survey what needs to happen to sustain its beauty. Never would we have to guess what he was thinking, he would tell you. When he was right, he was right and that was often! As his health begin to fail, he still attended meetings. The community was important to him and he knew how to get things done. The Morgan Park Improvement Association will never allow him to be forgotten. We plan to honor his memory in a special way. We pray that you will be strengthened and encouraged by his life, it was well lived. May God bless you in the days ahead!

I fondly remember Lloyd when he was a board member of GEDCO and Stadium Place. He selflessly shared his time and expertise, and taught me about the Buffalo Soldiers and life. Condolences to his family.
