Ms. Hill was my vice principal at Lake Clifton Senior High. I will always remember her for those heels and her impeccably stylish tweed jackets. She is the reason I speak so well today. She didn't tolerate poor english habits but she would correct you in such a loving manner. May she rest perfectly in peace.

I was a student at the "Great" Fredrick Douglass High school, as she called. She had such grace and elegance as our principal. An example to us young ladies to carry ourselves with dignity and excellence. Sending prayer to her family and friends. On behalf of the of 1992.

I had the pleasure of working with Ms. Shirley T. Hill who was executive assistant to the area superintendent in the southern area. She was an outstanding educator and will truly be missed. My prayers are with the family and may GOD continue to bless the family and give them strength as they go through this time of bereavement.

The year was 1964. It was my first year of teaching in the Baltimore Cty Public Schools. Bernard Yaffe was the department head of English." Miss Shirley" was a distinguished member of one of the best faculties in the BCPS. I joined that special group of people and had the best introduction to being a junior high school English teacher one could ever have with Mrs. Shirley Hill as a beacon of light! So thrilled to have still been in her life up to the end!!! Love, peace, and blessings to family and friends of this vibrant lady!
Her career in education with the Baltimore City Public Schools was exemplary! She is the model we need in today's city schools!!!

Mrs. Hill taught me at Clifton Park Jr. High, she was truly one of my favorite teachers. She always was well dressed and carried a beautiful smile which I will never forget. The last time I saw her we were at the MLK Day celebration at Martin West, I don't remember the year. Just know your mom touched a lot of us at Clifton Park. It's so sad but they don't make teachers like her anymore. She was a real Blessing to us. Sending the family my deepest condolences.
