At the beginning of the COVID pandemic, I volunteered for a non-profit organization to make wellness calls from my home since the non-profit was no longer making in-person visits to their clients. Over the last year, I had the pleasure of frequently speaking with Ms. Elliott (as I knew her) and we quickly developed a bond. Ms. Elliott loved her family and her food. Almost every time I spoke with Ms. Elliott, she was happily awaiting the delivery of food from a family member. Ms. Elliott enjoyed her outings with her family and loved her crabs. Every time I spoke with Ms. Elliott she always wanted to know what I was cooking too. Ms. Elliott was always happy to share good things about her family like when her grandson got a car or a family member was taking a trip. Ms. Elliott was particularly moved when family members arranged a drive-by to her husband's nursing home to cheer his spirits. Ms. Elliott loved and missed her husband very much. Ms. Elliott was always happy to talk with me and would frequently tell me how much she appreciated my calls. I am saddened to hear of her loss and, with a heavy heart, I offer my condolences to her family. Rest in peace, my friend. I will miss you.

I have known Ms. Judy practically all of my life. I grew up in the neighborhood of the family and remember the entire Haines family. May God give you comfort and peace during this time of bereavement.
