Mr. Charles Shird, age 80, of Baltimore City, MD. transitioned Thursday, May 20, 2021. Mr. Shird was born December 23, 1940 in Baltimore, MD. He retired as a Correctional Officer at the Baltimore City Jail. A public viewing will be held Thursday, June 10, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Vaughn C. Greene Funeral Services, 8728 Liberty Road, Randallstown, MD (21133). The Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Shird will be held Friday, June 11, 2021 in the Chapel of Vaughn C. Greene Funeral Services, 8728 Liberty Road, Randallstown, MD (21133), where the family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. with services to follow. The interment will take place at Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery in Owings Mills on Friday, June 11, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. The Repast will be held at Pleasant Hills Methodist Church, 10911 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117 following the interment.
