To the family and friends of Deacon Hatton… I hear you were going away, to the heavens I do pray. You have been watched from above and now He sends you his love. Your obedience to the Word I know was heard and your reward’s on the way as we all kneel and pray. You will tell us all one day about your trip far, far away. The sounds of trumpets will be heard telling us all that you are near! Your giant frame still stands tall and your soft voice will still be ringing in our ears! That smile that I’ve seen many times will be remembered. Brother Hatton, you have left your mark for all to see. Your kind words of wisdom and your trust in your God has given you a long life here on earth, a good wife, and beautiful children, your gift to the earth. Dear Cousin Clarence, I'm so deeply saddened about your passing. I always remember how momma...your Aunt Loree showed off the beautiful birthdays cards , mother's days cards, Christmas cards , Easter cards you always sent her. I know how she held a special place for you in her heart. I also have the special place for you dear cousin and always will. I thank you for all the long talks we had these last few years. I wish we could've had more. My husband Thomas was looking forward to meeting you and getting his beard trimmed at your Barber shop. We are both overcome with sadness . Cousin Clarence I can't promise you I'm not crying. You're my only cousin on the Hattons side that kept in touch. Momma loved that also about you as I did also.
