Obituary of Jeffrey Edward Russell

Mr. Jeffrey Edward Russell, age 71, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 23, 2021, in Good Samaritan Hospital, Baltimore, MD. A lifelong resident of Baltimore, MD, Mr. Russell was born on July 9, 1949, to Fannie Mae and Ellwood Russell. Mr. Russell was proud to be a part of the military, Mr. Russell was honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy. He later joined the VFW Post #8509 which he had the honor of serving as Commander. He was also a member of the American Legion of Catonsville, MD. He had been employed as a correctional officer for the State of Maryland. A celebration of his life will be held, 10:30 AM, Tuesday, June 15, 2021, in Vaughn Greene Funeral Services - East Chapel, 4905 York Road, Baltimore, MD 21212. The wake will begin at 10:00 AM. The interment will take place in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, Owings Mills, MD following the funeral services.
