Obituary of Helen Cornelia Witherspoon

Helen Cornelia Witherspoon, age 74, entered into eternal rest on Friday, August 13, 2021, in Union Memorial Hospital, Baltimore, MD. Mrs. Witherspoon was born on May 8, 1947, to Helen and Cornelius Cummings. A lifelong resident of Baltimore, MD, Helen was affectionately know as Poot. She was very outgoing. Helen loved to travel to the many different casinos. She enjoyed her family and listening to music. A viewing will be held Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services - East, 4905 York Road, Baltimore, MD 21212, from 3:30 - 6:30 PM. The celebration of her life will be held 11:00 AM in the Chapel at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services. The wake will begin at 10:30 AM. The burial will take place in King Memorial Park following the services.
