To The Coleman Family,
Thank you for allowing myself and my family to meet, break bread, and be in the midst of a servant leader. Losing a loved one leaves an empty place in your heart, but God in his mercy offers comfort with the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ. This means you will one day have a joyous reunion in the kingdom of God. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

To Sabrina and Family,
Bobby was such a joy and filled our hearts with so much laughter. We always looked forward to him greeting us at the JC. Price events. He was the politician and we enjoyed the great debates. We will always remember the train rides from Maryland to Salisbury and Charlotte, N.C. We truly loved him and will certainly miss him until we meet again. So, stay strong and remember that Bobby will always be with you.
May God bless you,
Annie Smith and Clara Rich

My husband, Lou, and I send our condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Coleman. His obituary write up provided a glimpse of a truly inspiration and spiritual man, a gift from God.
As a parent we pray and seek the strength to do the right things, set the right example in the hope that our children and children's children may live long, purposeful, happy lives. Mr. Coleman may you rest in peace knowing your legacy is visible in your children and grandson as they fulfill your most precious and simple ask of the Lord. I see in Sabrina, his daughter, the strength, insight and courage to make a positive impact on every person she touches through her work and presence in VHA. See, your gift endures.
Thank you, Mr. Coleman, and may your soul and all the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Theodore Roosevelt Coleman was my Dad. My life has been forever changed by his death, but also forever changed by his life. His legacy will live on in the acts of service I am compelled to perform by having watched such a tremendous role model. I understand today that he was right about life often being a struggle, but no one really need suffer when people who care choose to do something about it. Thank you, Daddy, for a life well-lived. I will take my journey with that same spirit of service, having the courage to do what’s right, seeking God’s wisdom and accepting His amazing grace—knowing that I’ll see you on the other side. RIP….we got this!
