My Aunt Berline was a big part of my life and she was one of a kind. She is definitely irreplaceable! Although she birthed all boys; it meant so much to me to be treated like one of her girls. Our bond grew stronger over the years. She was my go-to person regarding anything I needed to discuss with her prior to and after the passing of my dad and mom. Sometimes we talked for minutes and sometimes we talk for hours, whether she called me or I called her. I truly enjoyed our last visit with each other, I was happy to see her, and she was happy to see me. I was also able to speak with her days prior to her passing and I will forever be grateful for that. Robert and Val open their home to her as always and I like others knew she was in good hands. She has transitioned and now she is resting in peace, free from all pain and suffering. Her legacy will forever live on through her family and friends. She loved her family and friends, even with knowing that they were all different in so many ways. As for me, myself, and I; traveling to Baltimore Maryland will never be the same without her. I will no longer hear her say Heyyyyyyy Stink. There will be no more of her and I sharing smiles, laughter, tears, and cries; but I will hold on to the memories forever as she flies the heavenly skies. She made history and she left an amazing story to tell. Rest in peace Old Lady Sue as I would affectionally call her. Love your niece Laura Davis-Hopkins and Family.
