Obituary of John Thomas Whitley

John Thomas Whitley, age 91, the beloved husband of Hattie L. Whitley, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 8, 2021. Mr. Whitley was born on February 12, 1930, to Rosetta Whitley and Samuel Holmes in North Carolina. Prior to retirement, Mr. Whitley was employed as a laborer for Bethlehem Steel. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army. A public viewing for Mr. Whitley will be held on Monday, January 3, 2022, from 3:30pm until 6:30pm, at Vaughn C. Greene Funeral Services, 8728 Liberty Rd, Randallstown MD, 21133. A homegoing celebration services for Mr. Whitley will be held on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at Vaughn C. Greene Funeral Services, 8728 Liberty Rd, Randallstown MD 21133, where the family will receive friends from 10:00am until 10:30am with services to follow. The interment will take place at Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, Owings Mills immediately, following services.
