Edna Mae always lit up the room when she entered, with that positive energy and delightful smile. Unfortunately, I only knew her for less than eight years, but the times spent with her were precious. I remember she would start our staff meetings off with a song, and she was always upbeat, even during trying times. You haven't had a birthday until you have heard Edna sing "Happy Birthday" to you over the phone! Her FedEx team and friends loved her dearly. She was fair, sincere, and caring to everyone. Edna, may you rest in peace knowing that you embraced the lives of so many people with your love. We will miss you; but we know you are in a better place. The Heavens will be blessed by your angelic voice and spirit. My prayers of solace go out to her family as they mourn her loss.

Edna’s Power!
Several years ago I met up with Edna and our team in Memphis for a week long seminar. Soon after we arrived, we were informed that we would need to create and conduct a presentation to our leadership team. We didn't have much time to prepare and my anxiety level was on high, but fortunately I was sitting next to Edna.
While we were preparing I asked Edna if we could pull this presentation off and in Edna's typical upbeat fashion, she replied, "Of course we will. We got the power." I asked, her what she meant. Edna stopped rocking back and forth in her chair and showed me the book she had sitting on her lap. It was her Bible and while lifting it up, she replied, "Why you worrying, we got the power right here!" I looked at the bible a little closer and noticed how worn it was; probably because of how much it was held by Edna, not just during that trip but most likely everywhere she went.
I was intrigued as to how Edna turned to her faith during challenging times. This is what helped her to always remain so positive! I thought well perhaps that Bible of hers could help me. When I picked it up, Edna placed her hand over mine to help ease my worry and cited a quick prayer. This prayer focused on the power of positive thinking. Needless to say, we all did well with our presentation and I truly feel Edna had a lot to do with that outcome.
Thank you Edna, for allowing me to touch your personal bible, for helping me understand how to overcome fear by simply understanding what power can do, but most importantly how positive thinking can overshadow negative thoughts. For this and many other reasons I am very fortunate to have been able to sit by your side!
You will be greatly missed!

To the family of Edna McGhee...
My deepest condolences for your loss. I met Edna in 2011 soon after I started a new job and I knew instantly that Edna was going to be a special person in my life, and she certainly was! She was smart, courageous, and caring to everyone that knew her. I will miss her in so many ways; but, most of all, her beautiful uplifting smile that always strengthened my inner spirit.
During one of my most difficult times having lost both of my parents three months apart, Edna offered her prayers and support. She gave me hope. I would have not made it through without Edna's kind words and unwavering compassion.
My dearest Edna, God has called you home; and, while I can't call you anymore to laugh and share stories of our lives, my heart will always have a special place for you...and my memories of you will continue to make me smile...and laugh...and make me a better person. I will see you again one day, my sweet sister, Edna. God Bless you! Pray for all of us. I love you. Mario Sciulli/ Pittsburgh, PA

Edna was a kind soul to everyone. She lived her life helping and giving to those around her and following God's Way - never judging anyone. I reconnected with her in October and heard from her daily with a beautiful prayer she would send. The prayers were meant to teach us all how to become a better person every day. I looked forward to her daily message. I offer my condolences to her daughter and entire family for we are sharing your loss with you. Edna was truly a one of a kind woman and know she's at peace back home and with God who she lived alongside of so very happily. Thanks for your friendship, Edna. I will remember you always. ❤️
