Obituary of George Mathew Campbell

George Mathew Campbell, age 67, went to rest after battling kidney failure and dementia for many years, on January 27, 2022. Mr. Campbell was born on February 7, 1954, in Aruba to the late Joubert and Agnita Campbell who left Grenada to work in Aruba. As a child, his family left Aruba and moved to Trinidad and Tobago. There he got his education. He worked for PTSC for many years. In 1979, he married, and from the union three children were born. In 1992, George migrated to the United States. Here he worked many jobs. In 1995, he joined the local 486 and became certified in HVAC, He worked with the union for many years, then he worked for Johns Hopkins Teaching Hospital in Maintenance for many years. Most recently, he worked as a maintenance worker for Towson University where he retired. George was a kindhearted person. He would help anyone who needed help with anything. George was loved by many. A celebration of life will be held 2:30 PM, Monday, February 7, 2022, in the chapel of Vaughn Greene Funeral Services - East, 4905 York Road, Baltimore, MD 21212. The wake will begin at 2:00 PM.
