Obituary of Melvin Jerome Davis

Melvin Jerome Davis, age 93, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 9, 2022 after a life well lived. A lifelong resident of Baltimore, MD, Mr. Davis was born on October 9, 1928 to Pearl and Russell Davis. Prior to retirement, Mr. Davis was employed as a painter for the City of Baltimore. Mr. Davis will be missed by his family and friends. A viewing will be held Friday, April 22, 2022, at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services - East, 4905 York Road, Baltimore, MD 21212, from 3:30 - 6:30 pm. Homegoing services will be held 10:30 am, Saturday, April 23, 2022 at The First Baptist Church, 525 N. Caroline Street, Baltimore, MD 21205. The wake will begin at 10:00 am. The burial will follow in Gardens of Faith Cemetery, Baltimore, MD.
