Obituary of Lennette Laetitia Ward

Lennette Laetitia Ward ("Nettie) passed away peacefully at George Washington University Hospital on Thursday, April 28, 2022 with her family by her side. Lennette was born on February 28, 1973, at University of Maryland Hospital, Baltimore, Maryland. She graduated from Lake Clifton Eastern High School in 1991; attending The Community College of Baltimore shortly thereafter. At her death, she was a resident of Washington, D.C. Lennette is survived by her father, Marcus C. Williams, stepmother, Margaret Williams; children Shannel N. Ward and Andre A. Ward; her grandchildren, Devyn G. Ricks and Obi U. Ricks; grandmother, Jeannette Williams; companion, Kenneth Douglas and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Lennette was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Virly and Mack Moore, Sr., her paternal grandfather, Willie James Williams, Sr., her mother, Roxanne E. Moore, and her brother, Josef S.E. Williams, uncles- Willie James Williams, Jr., and Mack Moore, Jr., aunts- Rochelle Moore, Patricia Williams, and Angela Moore, and a special cousin Colenia Lyles. Services will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at Vaughn Greene Funeral Home, 8728 Liberty Road, Randallstown, MD beginning at 2:00 PM.
