Obituary of Melba Dawson-Jones

Melba Dawson-Jones, the beloved wife of Henry D. Jones, departed this life on Thursday, June 2, 2022. Mrs. Dawson-Jones was bon in Ayden, NC to Vera and Louis Phillips, Sr. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Dawson-Jones was employed as a registered nurse. She will be missed by her family and friends. A viewing will be held Friday, June 10, 2022, at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services - East, 4905 York Road, Baltimore, MD 21212 from 3:30 - 6:30 pm. The celebration of her life will be held 10:00 am, Saturday, June 11, 2022, at First Charity Baptist Church, 5601 Bowleys Lane, Baltimore, MD 21206. The wake will begin at 9:30 am. The burial will be at the convenience of the family in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, Owings Mills, MD.
