Dear Bob,
Susan's and my heart grieves with you and your family during this time of sorrow in the death of your sister Barbara Ann McQueen. The death of your sister will never be easy and the road that you have been forced to turn will be dotted with hills and valleys. However, I assure you that this road will eventually become straight and the horizon will come into view. I want to let you know that Susan and I are available at your convenience during this time. As a friend, I beseech you to call if times seem rough and you need a shoulder to cry upon, or an ear to simply share the memories of your sister. We love you and the entire Brown Family grieve with you from the great city of Columbia, South Carolina.
