Gwen was one of my special cousins I enjoyed being with and her family at reunions and also special times over the years. We will truly miss her.
God saw the road was getting rough, the hill was hard to climb he gently closed those loving eyes and whispered "Peace Be Thine" The weary hours the days of pain the sleepless nights have passed, the ever-patient worn-out frame has found sweet rest at last. God saw that you were weary, so He did what He knows best He came and stood beside you and whispered "Come and rest" You bid no one a last farewell not even a goodbye. You were gone before we knew it, And only God knows why.

My cousin Gwen as I always called her was like a big sister to me from childhood I spent countless summers with her and her siblings!My mom made sure I was in Baltimore all the way from Newyork City! At that time they were living in Cherryhill there mother the late Elizabeth Pitt had us go up those hills I thought at the time mountains to pick blackberries for her to make blackberries dumplings ! Even when I relocated to Florida we kept in touch n visited each other! I will miss our conversations about family ! Sweet memories ! Rest In Peace Sister cousin! Love Ramona Herring and family

I am honored and blessed to have known Gwen. We spent a lot of fun time at meetings for various organizations. She was truly a blessing in my life and will be missed. My condolences.
