Obituary of Samuel Jones, Jr.

Samuel Jones, Jr. age 96, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, August 12, 2022. Mr. Jones was born in Fairfield, SC on November 6, 1925 to Vastie and Samuel Jones. Prior to retirement, Mr. Jones was employed as a bus driver for Baltimore City Schools. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army. He will be missed by his family. A viewing will be held Sunday, August 21, 2022 at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services - East, 4905 York Road, Baltimore, MD 21212 from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm. The celebration of life will be held 11:00 am, Monday, August 22, 2022, in the chapel of Vaughn Greene Funeral Services - East. The wake will begin at 10:30 am. The burial will follow the services in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, Owings Mills, MD.
