Obituary of James Linwood Davenport, Jr.

James Linwood Davenport, Jr., age 84, the beloved husband of Mildred Davenport, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 27, 2022. Mr. Davenport was born on July 23, 1938 to Ruby S. and James L. Davenport, Sr. in Essex County, VA. Prior to retirement, Mr. Davenport had been employed as a machine operator at the Steel Mill. He will be missed by his family and friends. A viewing will be held Friday, December 9, 2022 at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services - East, 4905 York Road, Baltimore, MD 21212 from 3:30 - 6:30 pm. The funeral services will be 10:30 am, Saturday, December 10, 2022 in the chapel at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services. The wake will begin at 10:00 am. The burial will follow the services in Moreland Memorial Park, Baltimore, MD.
