Obituary of Grenville Nomprell Cragwell
Grenville Cragwell was born on December 12, 1948 to Eudora Cragwell and Carl Connell and
raised on Skeete's Rd. Jackmans, St.Michael, Barbados.
Survived by his 4 children, Grenville Cragwell, Guy Cragwell, Alicea Cragwell, Gabriel Cragwell;
3 grandchildren, Vian Cragwell, Javan Cragwell and Kiara Cragwell; siblings, sister Glendora
Holligan, brothers Edsyl Cragwell and Cecil Cragwell. Wedded to his beloved, late wife Alpha
Cragwell for 43 years. Proud member of Masons. Grenville graduated from Modern high school
with his high school diploma in 1966. He came to the United States in 1970 at the age of 21
and continued his education at Delagante Institute in Brooklyn, NY. After living in New York for 2
years, he decided to move to Baltimore, MD, where he married his beloved wife, Alpha
Cragwell. His first job in Baltimore was at Acme Pad where he worked as a supervisor. He
ended his work career at the age of 70 at Quest Diagnostics.
Grenville passed away on November 20, 2022 at his residence. He will truly be missed. True
Bajan to the core! Loved family more than anything and loved to talk even more.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, December 17th at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services, 8728 Liberty Road, Randallstown, MD, where the family will receive friends from 11:00AM – 1:00PM.
The interment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery immediately following the viewing.
