I thought that one day I would meet Derek, but I never had the opportunity to meet him in person. Instead, through his family, I knew of him and how deeply they loved and cared for him. It was beyond measure. While he will be missed every day, it helps to know that love never ends...it really does go on. May the grace and comfort that only the Lord can provide be with you all.
