Praise the Lord to the Family of Deacon Gregory Fields, Sr. & the Ray of Hope Church Family & Reverend Franklin, truly you all have lost a precious jewel. So Spirited, Holy Ghost filled Saint. I met him through the late Deacon Daniel Washington of the Ray of Hope Male Chorus. A man of his word. Always dependible. For more then 20 years he supported the Mt. Airy Pentecostal Church Missionary Convention every November. The Male Chorus supported him & my cousin Deacon Washington every year. He would come render selection after selection & even stay for the Sermon. Even though the Pandemic came & it stopped our Convention he would always call & say if you need us we will be there. "NOW HE IS ON HIS WAY HOME". The Mt. Airy Pentecostal Church will miss Deacon Fields & to Mrs. Fields you hold on & keep your mind on the Master "Jesus Christ". Rest in peace & keep up the work that was started, The Ray of Hope Baptist Church.
