Obituary of George Phillip Hill

George Phillip Hill, age 87, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 10, 2023. Mr. Hill was born in Cambridge, MD on August 11, 1935, to Viola and Herbert Hill. Mr. Hill had been employed as a carpenter. Mr. Hill was honorably discharged from the U.S. Marine Corps. He will be missed by his family and friends. A viewing will be held Thursday, August 24, 2023, at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services - East, 4905 York Road, Baltimore, MD 21212, from 4:00 until 7:00 pm. The funeral services will be held 10:30 am, Friday, August 25, 2023, at Nazarene Temple Apostolic Faith Church, 2312 Harford Road, Baltimore, MD 21218. The wake will begin at 10:00 am. The burial will follow the services in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, Owings Mills, MD.
