Obituary of Tommy Anderson Green

Tommy Anderson Green, 59 years of age, passed on Monday, September 11, 2023. Tommy was born on August 17, 1964, in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Diamond Cornell Green and Betty Sue Green. He was the youngest male of the family. He was educated at Charles Carroll of Carrollton elementary school, Lombard Junior High School, and Paul Laurence Dunbar High School where he majored in woodshop and welding. In 1980, he landed his first job working at Baltimore Gas and Electric as part of the Williams Donald Schafer work force development program and later moved to HVAC and welding for public works and BGE subsidiary contracting companies. Tommy professed his life to Christ on June 15, 2015. He loved to help people and make people laugh, while singing Anita Baker and Sade. He never married or had kids of his own, however, he always enjoyed helping the kids in the community, making sure they had food to eat and made it to school on time. His love for helping people allowed him to volunteer at different soup kitchens and homeless shelters until health prevented his services. Tommy loved to spend time with family and friends, laughing and always wearing a smile on his face. He was a loving and caring person, devoted to family and friends, always thinking of others first. "To Know him was to love him". Tommy leaves behind to cherish his loving memory, 3 sisters, Pamela Green, Regina Green and Angela Green Williams, 1 brother, Kevin Green and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
