To the entire Edwards family and the Evangelical Baptist Church - it is with the utmost sadness we extend heartfelt condolences for the loss of your first lady, Sister Joyce Edwards. She was a matriarch in ministry and a devoted disciple of the Word. Her smile would brighten any room and her soft spoken voice could calm any chaos. She served her husband, her family and her church with every talent God poured into her. She never held back when it came to giving, and she never held back when it came to caring. She was a courageous missionary and boldly lived Matthew 28:19-20, "Go ye therefore and teach all nations ..." Her presence will be sorely missed, yet her impact continues like rippling waters - - rolling across many shores and touching many lives.
