Jeanette and I were sister friends since our days at Eastern High School. We rode the bus together everyday downtown. Through the years we celebrated life’s milestones: college graduations, birthdays, she was bridesmaid when I married, and retirements. We shared the same astrology sign and enjoyed many seafood luncheons. Jeanette and I sat together at our 50th high school reunion in November 2021. I will miss and always treasure our friendship. Remembering Jeanette as a thoughtful and supportive co-worker and friend for over 20 plus years. We shared many highs and lows of life’s journey over the years. We are grateful and thankful for the relationships God allowed us to experience. Our conversations and interactions with Jeanette will be sorely missed. This is difficult, but we have that blessed hope in knowing that Jeanette is resting in heavenly peace.

Jeanette was my best friend since high school days.
When my family decided to leave Baltimore, it didn’t stop our friendship. We became “pen pals”! She came to Kansas once and on my visits back to Baltimore, we would get together.
I’ll miss our phone calls, letters and emails.
She was one of a kind, a truly caring person.
She will be missed
