I remember when this man used to tell me his war stories. One thing he taught me about in particular was survival. During the war in Vietnam, all the Viet cong would eat was a handful of rice and a handful of beans once a day or once a week. Thats one of the reasons why we couldn't compete against Vietnamese. RIP Hubert. Service like yours will not be forgotten.

Uncle Hubert would visit his sister Doris’ house for Christmas! He would help her make our Christmas’ very special. He would take us to Sandy Point Beach in the summer too! When he would get his new car( Lincoln Continental), he would pick us up and take us for rides through downtown(Baltimore).
