My dear sister-in-law has gone home.
I still remember the day brother came home and told us about this amazing woman that he had met. He couldn’t stop grinning from ear to ear. We thought it was just his vivid imagination that no one could possibly be as wonderful as he described. But you were all of that and then some! The bond you and brother shared was truly something special.
Your affection didn’t take long to spread to the rest of the family. My kids soon couldn’t stop teasing their grandmother about how good Madeline’s smothered fried chicken tasted. I’m sure Mama finally ended up stealing your recipe.
Blessing Madeline, you were a remarkable person who touched the lives of so many, including mine. You had a way of bringing light and warmth into every room, and your absence leaves a void that can never truly be filled.
The passing of Madeline is a profound loss, and I can only imagine the pain that countless loved ones are going through. You raised giving and compassionate children and your grandkids are already making grandma so proud.
You gave so freely and spread so much comfort. You left us all with so many beautiful memories. You will forever be missed Madeline.

Rest in Peace Aunt Madeline. A child’s fondest memories are of laughter and joy. I can never once remember coming to your home in Baltimore when your infectious smile and a giant hug weren’t waiting to greet me at the door. The first question, but not really a question since the plate was already in your hand was “ are you hungry baby? “
You had a way of bringing light and warmth into every room, and your absence leaves a void that can never truly be filled. I hope you can find some comfort in the beautiful memories you shared and the love you gave so freely to all that were fortunate enough to grace your presence.
You were Uncle Cocky’s rock and foundation. If Mama Annie needed anything, you always made sure that it was only minutes away. The next words that you will hear will be, “ Well done my child. Well done.“ You will always be in our thoughts and prayers. Rest in eternal peace Aunt Madeline.
God will finish what you started. Thank you Aunt Madeline for making the world a more beautiful place.

Who else could grow tomatoes and flowers on top of concrete in Baltimore...so fitting that a tree should be planted in your honor. May God ever bless you

None of my father’s brothers and sisters knew him like she did. She was wise and knew a whole lot more than you thought she knew. She was funny but a woman of great faith and I know this because if I went on social media and no one was on there at that time there would always be a GIF sending me prayers and love. Glad I got to visit with her recently and give her her flowers while she was here and could enjoy them Sending eternal hugs.

MsMadeline was so special to me she showed love and I for her. Being my son’s grandmother I just wish they had more time to know. I’ll let them know how special you were and still is. MsMadeline respected and always had words of wisdom. You expressed it through our conversations whether fb or phone. I will always cherish you and hold your memories. Deepest sympathies to Donnell, Mildred and Milton. Rest well I love you MsMadeline.
