Mrs. Mary Poole James, age 89, transitioned from labor to reward on August 21, 2024. She leaves to mourn and cherish her memory: a beloved son, Eric James. A viewing will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the New Metropolitan Baptist Church, 1501 McCulloh Street, Baltimore, MD 21217. On Friday, August 30, 2024, a homegoing celebration for Ms. Mary P. James will be held at the New Metropolitan Baptist Church, 1501 McCulloh Street, where the family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. with services to follow. The interment service will be held at King Memorial Park immediately following the homegoing service.
