Meritta Lucille Powell, age 86, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 12, 2024. A lifelong resident of Baltimore, MD, Mrs. Powell was born on July 14, 1938. Mrs. Powell had been employed as a laborer in the laundry. She will be missed by her family and friends. As the family remembers the love and joy she brought into their lives, they invite you to attend a viewing. The viewing will be held Tuesday, Ocober 1, 2024 at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services - East, 4905 York Road, Baltimore, MD 21212, from 4:00 until 7:00 pm. The funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Wednesday, October 2, 2024, in the chapel at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services. The wake will begin at 10:30 am. The burial will follow the services in Woodlawn Cemetery, Baltimore, MD.
