"Remembering Richard Franklin Thomas
I'm honored to have shared a chapter of my life with Richard, a kind-hearted soul who touched my heart in ways that will never fade. We were married for a few precious years, and beyond our bond as spouses, he remained a dear friend.
Richard's passions were contagious. He proudly served in the military, dedicating his life to something greater than himself. After retiring, he found joy in spinning tracks as a DJ, bringing smiles to faces and rhythm to lives.
His tireless work ethic and devotion to family were inspiring. Whenever I shared my health struggles, Richard would lighten the mood with his signature humor, jokingly threatening to "take me to the Bay Bridge" – a lighthearted reminder to not take life too seriously.
Though our love was unconventional, it was genuine and unique. I'll cherish the memories of our laughter, adventures, and quiet moments. Richard may be gone, but his legacy lives on in my heart.
Rest in peace, dear Richard. May your legacy of kindness and joy continue to touch hearts. Until we meet again."
