You were the last of my grandfather’s siblings, a grandfather whom I never was able to set eyes on myself, and you loved his children and grandchildren as if we were your own children! Today we mourn the loss of a true friend and brave American who in her humble way has contributed much to the advancement of her country. A year and a half ago I became acquainted with Elenora Rebecca Franklin Burton when I became her care-giver at the H and T home. Amidst sailing health she displayed a brave spirit, she never complained and faced the inevitable with fortitude and grace. The management and staff of the H and T home extend our heart-felt condolences to her nieces Terri and Roberta who were devoted to her and I assure them that she appreciated their love and attention. We, her care-givers shall surely miss her as I Pauline had looked on her as a favorite grandmother who would always give me the wink of her eyes. Fly high my dear friend on wings of love to your eternal rest. May her soul rest In Peace and light perpetual shine upon her.
