Obituary of Vera Daise Thornton

Vera Daise Thornton, age 74, the beloved wife of Otis Thornton, Jr. entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 21, 2021, in Good Samaritan Hospital, Baltimore, MD. Mrs. Thornton was born on November 14, 1946, to Kathleen and Henry Daise in Beaufort, SC. Mrs. Thornton was employed as a disability hearings decision writer for the Social Security Administration. A viewing will be held Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services - East, 4905 York Road, Baltimore, MD 21212, from 3:30- 6:30 PM. The celebration of life will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, August 4, 2021, City Temple Church of Baltimore, 317 Dolphin Street, Baltimore, MD 21217. The wake will begin at 10:30 AM. The burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Baltimore, MD.
