Growing up he and his mother (Ivy) were very close to our family and we called each other cousins. On Sunday mornings he would walk my sister (Cynthia) and I to Waters AME for Sunday School. He was always a very nice and gentle person. My sincere condolences go out to his family.

Donald was one of my very first Sunday School teachers at Water's A.M.E. Church way back when. He was always the well dressed, consummate gentlemen and a great model of a man. I enjoyed doing men's ministry with him from the Tall Men to the Brotherhood and Men's Day planning. Super guy. Our loss. Heaven's gain.

Bert and I send our condolences to the family. Don was a good friend and A member of the credit union family where he and Bert had many occasions to participate together. I just remember his calm spirit and kindness. He will be missed. May he Rest In Peace.
