Our hearts are heavy after learning of the passing of our adopted brother Jonas. He was a a part of the Bowens family since we were kids. We remember that he and our oldest brother Howard were in a band together and Jonas was the singer. Always a pleasure to be around him, his brothers, his sisters and Ms. Mamie. Jonas always stopped by when he was in town, and he and mom would talk for hours. Jonas was very helpful to us when our mother passed. He gave remarks at her funeral. After that when he stopped by he said that he was checking on his Bowens brothers and sisters. Jonas will be greatly missed by our family as he felt just like a brother to us. Rest in heaven big brother. We love you still. Until we meet again. God bless his family and friends.
