Obituary of Rev. Jonas Belmar Pailen, Jr.

Rev. Jonas Belmar Pailen, Jr, age 78, the beloved husband of Novella Pailen and the father of Jonas B. Pailen, III, entered into eternal rest on Friday, October 6, 2023. Rev. Pailen was born September 27, 1945. Rev. Pailen was a self-employed truck driver. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army. Rev. Pailen was the assistant Pastor of Blessed Baptist Church. He will be missed by his family and friends. A viewing will be held Thursday, October 19, 2023, at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services - East, 4905 York Road, Baltimore, MD 21212, from 4:00 until 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Friday, October 20, 2023, at Mt. Pleasant Church and Ministries, 6000 Radecke Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21206. The viewing will begin at 10:30 am. The burial to follow in Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens, Timonium, MD.
